Zen weekend at the Interval: slowing down to better replenish

At the Interval, the natural space spontaneously invites to slow down. Nestled in the heart of a preserved environment, the site offers an ideal setting to escape the frantic rhythm of everyday life and give yourself a moment of introspection.

In recent years, we have been proposing the concept of Weekend Zen, a benevolent parenthesis where everyone can lay down, breathe and reconnect with their inner balance. The month of November, as nature quietly begins its passage towards the winter, lends itself particularly well. It is a time when calm settles down, the colors fade slowly, and when one naturally feels the desire to meet together in a soft and friendly atmosphere.

Slow activities, conducive to listening to oneself

Throughout the weekend, our passionate volunteers animated a series of carefully chosen activities to promote inner peace and authentic encounters.

To the programme:

  • Qi Gong by the lake, to anchor the body and mind from the first moments
  • One sensory maze in forest, inviting to walk in consciousness and open up to its senses
  • One Creative workshop using natural materials, allowing to explore its artistic fiber while remaining connected to the surrounding environment

When the night fell, the atmosphere was still softened. Participants·e·gathered around bites shared at the hour of the aperitif, before a friendly culinary workshop making spring rolls, followed by a comforting miso soup.

In the evening, our special guests guided a enveloping sound bath, mixing crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls and other soothing instruments, for a moment of deep relaxation.

A smooth Sunday

The next morning, a gentle stretch session allowed the body to wake up quietly, before a circle of closure with gratitude. The weekend ended with a meditative walking leading up to Zen space, or the stream whispers and invites to recollection.

An invitation to reconnect

To participate in a Zen Weekend at the Interval Coop is to offer a real break. It's taking time to breathe fresh air, replenish energy and discover – or to offer – a variety of meaningful activities.

An annual meeting that is both simple, deep and accessible, where everyone can slow down and live experiences to better meet each other.
